What happened

The Landlord applied to evict the Tenant for committing an illegal act. The Tenant, without authority, signed a contract with a film company for $15,000, misrepresenting herself as the property owner to allow filming in her unit. The ruling

The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord's $186.00 application fee and daily compensation of $35.16 from May 1, 2025, until move-out. The Landlord must credit the Tenant for the rent deposit of $895.00 plus interest of $268.17 against any amounts owed.
