What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques.

The ruling

Unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $10,460.53 by April 13, 2024, the tenancy will be terminated. If the Tenant does not void the order, the Tenant must pay the Landlord $6,647.71 and vacate the unit by April 13, 2024. The Tenant will also owe daily compensation of $48.02 for each day of occupation starting March 13, 2024.
