What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlords in good faith require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year by the Landlord's child.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 30, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement. The Tenants shall also pay the Landlords compensation of $101.92 per day for use of the unit starting March 7, 2023 until the Tenants move out, less any rent already paid.
