What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants because the Landlord in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated as of March 31, 2025. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction. The Landlord shall waive the rent for March 2025 and pay the Tenant the last month's rent deposit and interest by March 31, 2025. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $82.19 per day for use of the unit starting May 2, 2024 until the Tenant moves out.
