What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to pay rent as ordered in a previous LTB order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective April 14, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $7,956.27 less any payments made on or after February 7, 2023, as well as $30.56 per day in compensation starting April 4, 2023 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by April 14, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
