What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to persistent non-payment of rent. Despite the Tenant making significant partial payments after the application was filed, substantial arrears remained. The Tenant did not attend the hearing to provide evidence or contest the claim.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 28, 2025, unless the Tenant pays $4,001.20 to void the order. If the Tenant does not void the order and vacates, they are ordered to pay $336.27 plus daily compensation of $65.77 until they move out.
