What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to pay rent as ordered in a previous LTB order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 9, 2023, and the Tenant must vacate the unit by that date. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $4,858.52, which includes the outstanding rent arrears, application fees, and daily compensation, less the rent deposit and interest owed to the Tenant. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by June 9, 2023, they will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
