What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the rental unit is the superintendent's premises and the Tenant's employment as superintendent has ended.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated. The Tenant must move out by May 22, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $14,493.20, which includes compensation for use and occupation of the unit and the filing costs. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by May 22, 2023, they will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
