What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to meet certain conditions specified in a previous LTB order, including failure to pay rent arrears and current rent.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 1, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $3,144.38 in rent arrears and compensation, plus $31.83 per day starting April 21, 2023 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by May 1, 2023, the Landlord can file the order with the Court Enforcement Office to enforce the eviction.
