What happened

The Landlord applied for an order requiring the Tenants to pay the rent they owed. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $1,754.09, which includes rent arrears up to December 31, 2022, the cost of the application, and unpaid NSF charges, minus the rent deposit. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by June 17, 2023, they will start owing interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
