What happened

The landlord applied for an order requiring the tenant to pay the rent that the tenant owes, as well as charges related to NSF cheques.

The ruling

The tenant shall pay the landlord $3,638.95, which includes rent arrears up to January 31, 2023, the cost of the application, and unpaid NSF charges, minus the rent deposit. If the tenant does not pay the full amount by April 22, 2023, the tenant will start owing interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
