What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring the Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $3,461.53, which includes rent arrears owing up to November 30, 2022, the cost of the application, and unpaid NSF charges, minus the rent deposit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by April 23, 2023, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
