What happened
The Tenant applied for an order determining that the Landlord collected or retained money illegally, substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit, harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with the Tenant, and failed to meet the Landlord's maintenance obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006.
The ruling
The Tenant proved the allegations contained in the application on a balance of probabilities. The Landlord must pay the Tenant $78.00, which includes $25.00 for interest on the last month's rent deposit and $53.00 for the cost of filing the application.
