What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenant failed to pay $417.16 towards arrears by the due date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 3, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $3,620.14 (less any payments made after June 2, 2023) and $65.71 per day starting June 23, 2023 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by July 3, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
