What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $2,631 by August 31, 2023 or $3,438 by September 10, 2023 to void the order. If the Tenant does not void the order, they must pay $1,005.34 to the Landlord and vacate the unit by September 10, 2023. The Landlord is entitled to daily compensation of $26.53 from August 1, 2023 until the Tenant vacates.
