What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent and substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated. The tenant must vacate the unit on or before June 30, 2024. If the unit is not vacated on or before June 30, 2024, then starting July 1, 2024, the Landlord may file this order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) so that the eviction may be enforced. This resolves all matters in dispute between the Landlord and the Tenant up to April 24, 2024.
