What happened
The Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant, a senior in her eighties with a language barrier, did not attend the hearing. The ruling
The tenancy will continue provided the Tenant pays $2,872.20 in arrears and costs according to a strict monthly schedule. Starting July 15, 2025, the Tenant must pay $250.00 per month in addition to the regular rent until May 2026, with a final payment in June 2026. If any payment is missed, the Landlord may apply to terminate the tenancy without further notice to the Tenant.
