Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants and for an order to have the Tenant pay the rent they owe because the Tenants did not meet a condition specified in the order issued by the LTB on March 9, 2023 with respect to application LTB-L-042067-22.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 26, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $16,392.16 plus $62.88 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting May 16, 2023 to the date the Tenants move out of the unit. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount owing by May 26, 2023, they will start to owe interest at 6.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
