What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant challenged the lawful rent amount charged by the Landlord.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $627.06 by May 31, 2024 or $1,587.10 by June 3, 2024 to void the order. If the Tenant does not pay, they must vacate the unit by June 3, 2024. The Landlord is entitled to daily compensation of $31.56 for the Tenant's continued occupation after May 16, 2024.
