What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord and Tenant reached a written agreement to resolve the Landlord's application.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $2,461.00, which includes $2,275.00 for rent arrears up to March 31, 2023, and $186.00 for the application fee. The Tenant shall pay the amount in three installments by May 12, 2023. The Tenant shall also pay the full rent on or before the first day of each month for April and May 2023, or until all arrears are paid, whichever is sooner. If the Tenant fails to make any of the required payments, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant, or may ask the LTB to reopen the application.
