What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlords in good faith require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year.
The ruling
The Landlords have proven on a balance of probabilities the grounds for termination of the tenancy under the N12 notice. The tenancy is terminated and the Tenants must move out by February 15, 2024. The Landlords will provide another one month's rent compensation cheque to the Tenants on or before January 31, 2024.
