What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant and for an order to have the Tenant pay the rent they owe because the Tenant did not meet a condition specified in the order issued by the LTB on March 22, 2023 with respect to application LTB-L-034256-22.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 13, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $5,453.84 plus $38.24 per day starting May 3, 2023 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by May 13, 2023, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
