What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous LTB order, which was to pay rent arrears by certain due dates.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 2, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $4,014.42, which includes the remaining rent arrears from the previous order and new arrears, less the rent deposit and interest owed. The Tenant must also pay the Landlord $26.40 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting June 22, 2023 until the Tenant moves out.
