What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $2,559 by July 31, 2024 or $3,716 by August 4, 2024. If the Tenant does not void the order, they must pay $899.99 to the Landlord and vacate the unit by August 4, 2024. The Landlord is entitled to daily compensation of $38.04 for the Tenant's continued occupation after July 18, 2024.
