What happened

The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective May 1, 2023. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date or face eviction. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $9,513.94 in rent arrears and costs, less the rent deposit and interest owed. The Tenant will also owe daily compensation of $37.25 from April 21, 2023 until they vacate.
