What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, and the Tenant did not void the notice by paying the arrears.
The ruling
Unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $2,363.88 on or before July 14, 2024, the tenancy will be terminated. If the Tenant does not pay, they must move out by July 14, 2024 and pay daily compensation of $37.08 until they vacate. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
