What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The ruling
The tenancy will be terminated on November 3, 2023 unless the tenants pay $41,048.82 by October 31, 2023 or $44,387.77 by November 3, 2023 to void the order and continue the tenancy. If the tenants do not make the required payment, they must vacate the unit by November 3, 2023 and pay $35,186.00 to the landlord, plus daily compensation of $109.77 for continued occupation.
