What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the Tenant did not void by paying the arrears. The ruling

The tenancy will be terminated on May 31, 2023 unless the Tenant pays $2,031.06 to void the order. If the Tenant does not pay, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction starting June 1, 2023. The Landlord is entitled to compensation for the Tenant's continued occupation of the unit after the hearing date.
