What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to rent arrears. At the hearing, the parties reached a consent agreement regarding the repayment of the arrears and the maintenance of the rental property.

The ruling

The LTB issued a consent order requiring the Tenants to pay $8,386.00 in arrears through a scheduled payment plan running from September 2025 to May 2026. The Tenants must also maintain the property's exterior. Failure to make any payment allows the Landlord to apply for an eviction order without further notice to the Tenants.
