What happened

The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenant due to the tenant's failure to meet certain conditions specified in a mediated settlement agreement.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 4, 2023. The tenant must pay the landlord $7,235.76 (less any payments made after the application was filed) and $28.24 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting May 25, 2023 until the tenant moves out. If the tenant does not pay the full amount by June 4, 2023, the tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
