What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Tenant did not meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the LTB on October 8, 2020 with respect to application TSL-11421-19-SA.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 3, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $27,147.70 (less any payments made after the application was filed) for rent arrears up to May 23, 2023, and $31.40 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting May 24, 2023 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by June 3, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
