What happened

The Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant alleging that the Tenant or an occupant committed illegal acts involving drugs and seriously impaired the safety of others in the residential complex. During the hearing, the parties reached a consent agreement where the tenancy would continue subject to specific conduct conditions.

The ruling

The tenancy continues on the condition that the Tenant refrains from harassing other tenants and commits no illegal acts between January 19, 2026, and January 18, 2027. If the Tenant breaches these conditions, the Landlord may apply for an eviction order without notice. Additionally, the Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $186.00 for the filing fee by January 31, 2026.
