What happened

The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenant due to the tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous LTB order. The tenant failed to pay the lawful rent by the due date.

The ruling

The previous LTB order is cancelled. The tenancy is terminated, and the tenant must vacate the unit by July 2, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement. The tenant must pay the landlord $2,161.77 in rent arrears and the cost of the previous application, plus $4.37 per day in compensation starting June 22, 2023 until the tenant vacates.
