What happened

The Landlords filed for eviction due to substantial interference by the Tenant, who allegedly allowed unauthorized individuals to occupy the Landlords' boat and the property's back porch, causing noise and disturbances. An initial order dismissed the application. The Landlords requested a review, which was granted because the original member made a serious error in law regarding the requirements for a second N5 notice. The Tenant did not attend the review hearing.

The ruling

The Landlords' request for review is granted, and the previous order is cancelled. The tenancy is terminated effective June 30, 2025. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlords $4,590.80 in compensation, plus a daily rate of $24.95 from June 12, 2025 until move-out, and the $244.00 application fee. Relief from eviction was denied.
