What happened

The Landlord applied for eviction based on allegations of substantial interference, damage, and serious impairment of safety caused by the Tenant or their guests. An initial order granted the eviction. The Tenant requested a review of that order, arguing they were not responsible for guest behavior and that the Landlord failed to properly disclose evidence before the hearing. The Vice Chair reviewed the case and the audio recording, concluding that the original hearing was procedurally fair and the Landlord's disclosure met the required rules.

The ruling

The request to review the order dated August 21, 2025, is denied. The original order for termination and eviction remains unchanged and confirmed. The Board clarified that the Tenant is responsible for guests' behavior regarding safety and that the Landlord's evidence disclosure was sufficient.
