What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent and persistent late payment of rent. The Landlords served valid N4 and N8 notices, and the Tenants did not void the notices by paying the arrears.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants pay $2,336 by April 20, 2023 to void the order. If the Tenants void the order, they can remain in the unit if they pay rent on time and in full for 12 months from May 1, 2023 to April 1, 2024. If the Tenants fail to make any of these payments, the Landlords can apply to terminate the tenancy without further notice.
