What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Landlords in good faith require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year by the Landlords' daughter.
The ruling
The Landlords' application to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant is granted. The Landlords' daughter has a genuine intent to occupy the rental unit for at least one year. The Landlords attempted to pay the one-month compensation to the Tenant, but the Tenant refused the payment. The Tenant must vacate the unit by March 31, 2025. If the Tenant does not vacate by that date, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
