What happened
The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy because he required the unit for his daughter's residential occupation. Following an order issued in September 2025 granting eviction, the Tenant requested a review, claiming that other units were available for the daughter and that the original decision contained errors. The Tenant also alleged a clerical error regarding the enforcement date.
The ruling
The Tenant's request for a review of the order terminating the tenancy was denied. The Board found no serious error in the original decision and concluded that the Tenant was merely trying to re-argue the case. The original finding that the Landlord's daughter intended to occupy the unit in good faith was upheld.
