What happened
Peter Wadeck (the 'Previous Landlord') applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Michael Oster (the 'Tenant') because the Previous Landlord has entered into an agreement of purchase and sale of the rental unit and the purchaser, Arisha Mousavi (the 'Landlord'), in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated and the Tenant must move out by April 26, 2024. The Tenant shall pay the Previous Landlord $2,093.91 and the Landlord $4,135.09 plus $23.01/day from April 4, 2024 until move-out. The rent deposit and interest of $858.08 is deducted from the amount owed to the Landlord.
