What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not attend the hearing despite being properly served with notice.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays the outstanding rent arrears and costs by January 15, 2024. If the Tenant does not pay, they must vacate the unit by January 15, 2024 and the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
