What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant admitted to the arrears but requested relief due to a change in financial support and her current absence from Canada. The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 30, 2025, unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $6,288.00 by August 31, 2025, or $7,305.00 by September 30, 2025. If the tenancy is not continued, the Tenant must pay the Landlord $2,857.23 plus daily compensation of $33.44 from June 19, 2025, until move-out.
