What happened

The Tenants filed a request to review an eviction order issued on August 6, 2025. The Tenants claimed they were unable to participate in the original July 7, 2025 hearing because the Landlord was withholding their mail and had changed the keys at the post office. The Landlord countered that he had hand-delivered the hearing documents and that the Tenants were responsible for the post office key issues. The Board found the Tenants' allegations of mail fraud unsubstantiated and denied the review request.

The ruling

The request to review the original eviction order is denied. The stay of the eviction order previously granted is lifted immediately, and the original decision issued on August 6, 2025, remains in full force and effect.
