What happened

The Landlords initially applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant based on allegations of illegal acts involving drugs (production, trafficking, or possession for trafficking). An order was issued in November 2025, which the Tenant subsequently requested a review of. A stay of the original order was granted in December 2025. During the review hearing in January 2026, the parties reached a mutual agreement.

The ruling

The LTB granted the Tenant's review request. By consent of both parties, the prior eviction order and interim stay were cancelled, and the Landlords' application was withdrawn, effectively ending the dispute and allowing the tenancy to continue.
