What happened

The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenant due to the tenant's failure to pay rent as ordered in a previous LTB order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 7, 2023. The tenant must pay the landlord $1,411.32 (less any amount paid after March 2, 2023) and $46.52 per day in compensation from April 27, 2023 until the tenant moves out. If the tenant does not pay the full amount by May 7, 2023, the tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
