What happened
The Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy because the Tenant failed to meet conditions in a mediated settlement. An initial eviction order was issued without a hearing. The Tenant filed a motion to set aside that order. During the hearing for the motion, the parties reached a consent agreement to establish a new payment plan for rent arrears.
The ruling
The previous eviction order was set aside and replaced by a consent order. The Tenant is required to pay $3,277.00 in arrears through a monthly installment plan of $273.08 starting October 1, 2025. If the Tenant misses any payment or fails to pay ongoing rent on time, the Landlord can apply for an immediate eviction order without further notice to the Tenant.
