What happened

The Landlord applied for the termination of tenancy and eviction because the Tenant failed to pay rent. At the hearing, both parties reached a consent agreement regarding the repayment of arrears and maintaining future rent payments to avoid eviction.

The ruling

The LTB ordered a consent agreement where the Tenant must pay $1,506.00 in arrears and costs via a schedule of monthly payments starting September 1, 2025. The Tenant is also required to pay full rent on time. If any payment is missed, the Landlord may apply for an eviction order without further notice to the Tenant.
