What happened

The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective May 6, 2023. The tenant must pay the landlord $8,879.24, which includes rent arrears up to April 25, 2023 and the cost of the previous application, less the rent deposit and interest on the deposit. The tenant must also pay the landlord $47.49 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting April 26, 2023 until the tenant moves out.
