What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The tenants requested a review of the order and that the order be stayed until the request to review the order is resolved.

The ruling

The request to review the previous order is granted. The previous order is cancelled and replaced with this order. The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants pay the outstanding amount of $19,992.75 by May 14, 2023 or $21,992.75 by May 23, 2023 to void the order. If the Tenants do not pay the required amount, they must vacate the unit by May 23, 2023 and pay the Landlord $16,228.46 plus daily compensation.
